This video is particularly from far western Nepal. But its not just here this is the story of every corner of Nepal. Many even in big cities like Kathmandu believe that women who are menstruating are impure and bring bad luck.That's the culture i grown up with and you too.And in some remote villages like shown in this video they are exiled each month, leaving them vulnerable to rape and other dangers. Not only that we take a women as a passive and dependent in every perspective.While more than half of the population are women and are taken as passive workforce in building the country, how can we develop the country? So one of the reason for our present condition to be a one of the poor nation in the world is that we have dramatic gender inequities.
